Speaking live on TikTok, a lady identified as Ivonne from Kakamega County made a confession that shocked many Kenyans.
Many viewers said they were left confused and disturbed after hearing her emotional story and the situation she described online.
In her statement, Ivonne narrated that her biological father reportedly took his own life just months ago after allegedly discovering that her mother had been involved in a secret relationship with another man, who later became her stepfather.
She further claimed that she later got into a relationship with the same man, who is now her mother’s husband. Ivonne also said that she ended up pregnant from the relationship and is now worried about how her mother would react, fearing it could lead to more tragedy in the family.
The young woman added that she is feeling extremely stressed and confused. She said she is now thinking of either ending the pregnancy or even taking her own life, and she asked Kenyans online to advise her on what she should do.
However, many Kenyans who reacted to her story advised her not to make any harmful decisions.
They encouraged her to seek immediate professional counseling, medical support, and guidance from trusted people.
Many also urged her to stay strong and avoid both suicide and unsafe decisions, saying she needs urgent help and care during this difficult time.
