A lady, who identified herself as Moreen, has broken her silence after a terrifying ordeal. She revealed that she was allegedly kidnapped by two men while working as a sex worker and taken to a building under construction, where she was abused.
In her statement, Moreen said she is now living in immense pain and is too afraid to visit a hospital. She fears being embarrassed if people learn about what happened to her.
Moreen explained that everyone in her town knows the job she was doing. She feels that going to a hospital would make people laugh at her, and that is something she desperately wants to avoid.
The woman added that her 17-year-old son is now the one caring for her. He even helps her with tasks she can no longer do by herself, including changing her diapers, as she struggles to move due to the abuse.
Moreen is appealing to Kenyans for help and prayers. Many people on social media have encouraged her to seek medical treatment so she can recover and get the care she needs.
