"Some Leaders in Kenya Never Keep Their Word, Always Lie to Kenyans with Fake Promises," Ruto Reveals in Tanzania (VIDEO)

President William Ruto has raised concern over leaders who fail to keep their promises to the people. Speaking while addressing members of Parliament in Tanzania, Ruto said that as a president, he strongly dislikes leaders who make promises but do not work hard to fulfill them. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.

In his speech, Ruto told Tanzanian lawmakers that in Kenya, there are some leaders who move around the country making promises to citizens even when they know very well they will not deliver. He said this habit has continued for a long time and it is not good for leadership.

Ruto went on to say that these leaders, although he did not mention their names, have been misleading Kenyans with false promises. He made it clear that he is not happy with such behavior, adding that lying is one of the things he hates most as a leader.

He also noted that if leaders in the country were honest and committed to the people who elected them, Kenya would be in a much better place today. According to him, truth and action are key to building trust between leaders and citizens.
