"Ni Wanaume Wapi Ambao Sifai Kupea Mechi, Dad?" Father-Daughter TikTok Conversation Goes Viral, Kenyans React (VIDEO)

A young lady identified as Venesa and her father have sparked a heated debate on social media after a video of their conversation went viral on TikTok. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.

Many Kenyans have been sharing the clip widely, with some expressing shock while others see it as a normal parent-child discussion taken out of context.

In the video, the two were seen speaking during a live TikTok session. The father appeared concerned about his daughter’s progress in school and asked her how she was continuing with her education.

Venesa, who is reportedly studying at Kenyatta University, calmly responded that she was doing well and focusing on her studies.

However, the conversation took a different turn when the father questioned whether she was getting distracted by relationships instead of concentrating on her education.

This made the discussion more personal and caught the attention of many viewers who were watching the live session.

At first, Venesa laughed off the question but later admitted that she had several boyfriends. Despite this, she insisted that her relationships were not affecting her academic focus and that she was still serious about her education.

The situation became even more interesting when Venesa asked her father to openly tell her the type of men she should avoid in life. She requested him to speak honestly without feeling shy, a move that surprised many people online.

In response, the father appeared uncomfortable with the question and said he would instead talk to her mother so that she could guide their daughter on such matters. His reaction has also drawn mixed feelings from viewers.

Following the viral video, Kenyans have shared different opinions. Some praised the openness between the father and daughter, saying it shows trust and freedom in communication.

Others, however, felt that such conversations should remain private and not be discussed publicly on social media platforms like TikTok.
