A man from Kakamega County, known as Mnyama Victor, has caused drama in Kawangware after he allegedly kicked out his sick mother from his rental house on Saturday night.
According to reports from neighbors, the mother was not feeling well and looked weak at the time she was forced to leave the house. The incident shocked many people who witnessed what was happening.
When Victor was confronted by members of the public and asked why he could treat his own mother in such a harsh way, he defended himself. He said his mother had earlier told him that she would only stay in his house for two days.
He claimed that after those days were over, he felt it was right for her to leave as agreed.
Victor further explained that he is trying to build his own life and plans to get a wife in the future.
He added that having his mother around would become a burden to him. He then told her to either look for a husband to marry her or find some work to support herself.
However, many Kenyans on social media strongly condemned Victor’s actions, saying what he did was very wrong and inhuman.
Many people expressed anger and sympathy for the mother, saying a child should care for their parent, especially when they are sick.
Some even claimed that Victor had brought curses upon himself because of how he treated his own mother.
