A family from Kapsabet in Nandi County is mourning after their daughter reportedly died in a tragic incident while working in Saudi Arabia.
According to the family, the young woman had just given birth when she was killed, leaving relatives and friends in deep shock and pain.
They said she had been working as a domestic worker in Saudi Arabia for some time, where she allegedly developed a relationship with her male employer.
The family further claimed that the situation became serious after she became pregnant, with reports suggesting the child was fathered by her boss.
Things allegedly took a tragic turn when the boss’s wife learned about the situation. The family says she became angry after discovering the alleged affair and pregnancy.
Heartbroken relatives claim the attack happened shortly after the woman gave birth. They allege she was assaulted with a hammer and stabbed multiple times with a knife, leading to her death from severe injuries.
The family also made a disturbing claim that after the attack, the boss’s wife placed the newborn baby on the mother’s body.
The grieving relatives are now appealing to the Kenyan government to help repatriate the body so they can give her a proper burial at home. They are also demanding justice for their daughter.
The incident has sparked widespread shock and sadness online, with many Kenyans sending messages of condolence to the family.
