A senior police officer attached to a station in Machakos County is in hospital after a shocking attack by a group of women in Mlolongo.
Speaking from his hospital bed, the officer revealed the terrifying ordeal, saying over 20 women ambushed him, abused him, and stole his phone and money.
The officer narrated that the incident began on Tuesday while he was driving home. According to him, a woman, whom he described as beautiful, approached him and insisted that he accompany her to a guest room for a talk.
Thinking nothing was wrong, he agreed and parked his car by the roadside before following her. He had no idea it was a trap.
He said that while he was talking to the woman, others appeared from under the bed and outside the room. They warned him not to shout, saying that if he did, they would call him a thief, and he could be lynched. The officer added that he was beaten and abused during the attack.
Tragically, after the attack, he was hospitalized and tested HIV positive. He is now in severe pain and recovering slowly.
The news has shocked many Kenyans, and several people have sent messages of support and apologies to the officer, expressing sympathy for what he went through.
The case has raised concerns about safety, trust, and the increasing reports of women-led crimes in some areas.
