According to new details emerging, the young lady had recently entered into a relationship with a Russian man before the tragic incident happened.
Reports from her close friends indicate that she visited a medical center in Roysambu, Nairobi, to know her HIV status. Sadly, she was informed that she had tested HIV positive.

Before she hanged herself inside her rental house, the college student is said to have written a painful letter which she wanted delivered to her parents.
In the letter, she reportedly expressed regret, saying she felt she had disappointed them. She explained that instead of focusing on her academics in college, she chose to look for love.
She asked her parents to forgive her and told them that by the time they received the letter, she would no longer be alive. Her body was later moved to the morgue as authorities began investigations into the incident.
