"I Can't Believe It" – Mama Ida Odinga Breaks Silence After Sifuna Was Spotted With a Lady Who Celebrated Raila's Death

Mama Ida Odinga has reportedly responded to claims circulating on social media that Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna was seen in the company of a Kikuyu woman who allegedly celebrated the passing of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.

Reports indicate that several Luo leaders, particularly those who had earlier called for Sifuna’s removal as the ODM Party Secretary-General, strongly criticized him.

Some of them claimed they were disappointed and questioned his loyalty, suggesting that they did not expect him to be associated with such controversy.

Despite the heated reactions online, Mama Ida Odinga came forward with a statement addressing the matter, leaving many Kenyans surprised.

She reportedly dismissed the allegations that Sifuna had betrayed Raila Odinga. She also criticized leaders who were quick to label him as an enemy of the Luo community, saying their claims were unfair and misleading.

According to her statement, Mama Ida expressed that she considers Sifuna as one of her own and sees him as part of the Odinga family.

She further noted that some of those accusing him today were not as active or committed when Raila Odinga needed support most.

She added that no one should rush to judge Sifuna, insisting that some of the loudest critics were never genuine supporters of Raila Odinga.

Her remarks have since sparked debate online, with Kenyans sharing mixed reactions over the ongoing political controversy.
