The unexpected incident left family members shocked and embarrassed after they were exposed to the content without any prior warning.
According to the woman, identified as Moreen, she admitted that she had not set a password on her Telegram application. She explained that her young son got hold of her phone while she was busy in the kitchen.
In the process, the child unknowingly accessed the app and ended up sharing the private content to the family WhatsApp group without understanding what he was doing.
Moreen expressed deep regret over the incident, saying she felt extremely embarrassed. She acknowledged that it was a serious oversight and assured that it would not happen again.
She also promised to be more cautious moving forward by ensuring her phone is always locked and kept out of her child’s reach when not in use.
Despite her apology, the video had already spread widely across social media platforms, sparking mixed reactions from Kenyans.
Some sympathized with her, terming it an honest mistake, while others questioned her lack of basic phone security.
The incident has since ignited discussions online about privacy, digital safety, and the importance of securing personal devices in today’s technology-driven world.
