Kenyans have been thrown into surprise after a well-known Nairobi pastor made unexpected revelations about his past. He claimed that during his younger years in his 20s, before he became a born-again Christian, he was once romantically involved with social media influencers Alicia Kanini and Marion Naipei. His remarks have triggered heated debate online, with many questioning his motives and why he is bringing up the matter now.
Speaking during a recent church gathering and later in a recorded message, the pastor said his life took a major turn after he joined Bible school. He explained that it was there that he embraced Christianity and chose to abandon his former lifestyle.
He added that after his salvation experience, he completely moved on and stopped keeping track of the two women, instead dedicating his time to ministry work and spiritual growth. He said he lived peacefully for years without paying attention to their public lives.
However, he noted that he was recently disturbed after hearing claims that Alicia Kanini and Marion Naipei are allegedly involved in online activities he described as immoral and used as a source of income.
At first, he said he dismissed the reports as baseless gossip meant to tarnish reputations.
The pastor further stated that his concern deepened after he allegedly came across the content himself on a Telegram channel.
He said what he saw confirmed what people had been saying, leaving him disappointed and emotionally affected, especially because they were once people he knew personally.
He went on to say that he now feels a spiritual duty to help them change their ways. According to him, their alleged online activities are damaging their reputation and distancing them from God.
He insisted that his intention is not to condemn them, but to guide them toward what he considers a better and more righteous path.
In a strong statement, the pastor said he is willing to help “redeem” them from what he termed sinful behavior involving exposure for financial gain. He also claimed he would assist them in finding respectable partners within his church community.
He further revealed that he has invited them for a private discussion at his home, where he hopes they can talk about how he can support them in transforming their lives.
