He said the employer’s kindness has been a major relief to them, especially during a period when they were struggling and in need of help.
In his remarks, the grateful husband explained that he never imagined they would receive such support from his wife’s workplace when she became pregnant.
He noted that life during that time was difficult, and he often turned to prayer, hoping for a breakthrough for his young family.
According to him, he now believes those prayers were answered through the Chinese boss, who has remained supportive even after his wife successfully delivered their baby six months ago.
Kanethe also disclosed that the employer promised his wife a promotion once she completes her maternity leave.
He further said the boss assured him of helping him secure a job so that the couple could work in the same company, a promise that has given them renewed hope.
The Nyeri man expressed his happiness, saying such generosity is rare and deeply appreciated. He added that he is looking forward to the day he will also join the same workplace.
He concluded by sending a message of gratitude to the boss, saying, “Mungu akubariki sana,” meaning “May God bless you very much,” for standing with his family during a critical moment in their lives.
