She said she continues to carry a heavy burden of guilt over everything that happened.

According to her account, she met a man in Nairobi CBD while going through financial hardship. At the time, she had two children aged 7 and 10 and was actively searching for work to improve her living conditions.

She narrated that the man complimented her and later invited her to accompany him to his home in Murang’a County. Hoping for a better future, she agreed to go with him.

Wilbroda said that upon arrival, she informed him that she had two children, but noticed he reacted with surprise and appeared unsettled. Out of fear of losing him, she claimed she quickly denied having children.

She further alleged that because the man was financially stable and she wanted to maintain the relationship, she made a grave decision involving her children in an attempt to secure a new life with him.

However, after about three years, she said the man eventually left her and married someone else, leaving her devastated and full of regret over her past actions.

Following the viral interview, many social media users strongly condemned her claims, describing them as heartbreaking and disturbing.

Others expressed shock, insisting that no relationship should ever come at the cost of innocent lives, and called for justice and accountability in such situations.
