Shock and sorrow have swept across the country following the unexpected passing of well-known preacher Bernard Oppon and his wife, Nana Konadu Oppon, under unclear circumstances. The two bodies were reportedly found in a decomposing state.
Their daughter, Edwina Arthur Oppon, confirmed the tragic news in an emotional social media post that has since attracted widespread condolences and support.
In her post, Edwina stated that she received news of her parents’ deaths hours after they had passed on Tuesday. She described the loss as overwhelming and extremely difficult for the family to bear.
She added that the pain of losing Pastor and Mrs Oppon was beyond words, noting that the family was struggling with grief that felt impossible to overcome.
Edwina also emphasized that their devotion to God’s work and their absence would leave a significant void in the lives of many.
She further requested both spiritual and financial assistance from friends, followers, and supporters as the family begins funeral arrangements.
