Beautiful photos have emerged of a nurse from Migori County who was allegedly abused for several hours before being brutally murdered by her husband over suspected infidelity.
Reports indicate that detectives at Isebania Police Station are holding six suspects in connection with the killing of the 30-year-old nurse.
The victim, identified as Davine Kwamboka, was a mother of two. Her death has shocked residents, patients, and colleagues.
Footage seen by Citizen TV showed Davine entering her house in the company of her husband and another man. The husband, who appeared to be on a phone call, was seen picking something from a window before the three entered the house.
They reportedly stayed inside for some time.
A postmortem later confirmed that Davine died from head injuries caused by blunt force trauma.
Security cameras captured some of the suspects allegedly pulling her body from the house in an attempt to conceal the crime.
A bodaboda rider later joined them, and they were seen dragging the body and trying to place it on a motorcycle. It is believed she was already dead at that time.
Family members revealed that her husband, Johnson Nyandigisi Bukundo, was arrested alongside a taxi driver while allegedly attempting to move the body to an unknown location near the Isebania border.
A relative, Richard Nyahega, questioned the circumstances surrounding her death, noting that Davine was seen entering the house with two men, but shortly after, the family was informed she had taken poison and died.
He called for thorough investigations to uncover the truth and ensure justice is served.
Colleagues also revealed that the husband had earlier gone to the hospital where Davine worked and engaged in an argument with her before they left together.
Police have since arrested six suspects as investigations continue, with the family demanding justice for their loved one.
