KUCCPS Portal Opens for 2025 KCSE Candidates to Apply for University and College Courses

Nairobi, Kenya – April 7, 2026 – Students aiming to secure placements in their preferred degree courses can now submit applications following the official opening of the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) application portal.

The announcement was made today by Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba after a closed-door meeting with KUCCPS officials, led by CEO Agnes Wahome.

CS Ogamba urged the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) candidates to take advantage of the portal and apply for courses of their choice through the official KUCCPS website: kuccps.net/login.

KUCCPS serves as the centralized system responsible for placing students into universities, colleges, and technical institutions across Kenya.
Through the portal, students can select courses based on their KCSE performance and career goals.

The application window is expected to remain open for several weeks, giving students enough time to review available programs and make informed decisions.

Officials also encouraged applicants to ensure their forms are correctly filled and submitted before the deadline to avoid missing out on preferred courses.
