"I Have Been Spreading HIV to Young Girls for 7 Years Without Taking ARVs," Shock as Kakamega Man Confesses; Advises Those He Infected to Pass It to Others

A section of Kenyans on TikTok were left stunned on Thursday after a man from Kakamega openly claimed that he is HIV positive and alleged that he has been transmitting the virus to young women for the past seven years. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.

In a video that has widely circulated online, the man is heard admitting that he has not been on antiretroviral therapy (ARVs) throughout that period and says he was aware of his status while allegedly infecting others.

He explained that he first contracted HIV from a girlfriend he trusted and loved deeply. He said the diagnosis emotionally affected him and filled him with anger, which later pushed him to deliberately spread the virus to others as a form of retaliation.

Appearing visibly unwell in the footage, he further suggested that his health has deteriorated and that he feels his life may be nearing its end.

He also confessed that he has avoided medical checkups and has not been taking ARVs for years, a situation that may have worsened his condition.

What drew even more outrage was his claim encouraging those he said he had infected to also pass the virus to others so they would not “suffer alone.” The remarks sparked widespread anger among viewers online.

Following the video, many Kenyans condemned his statements, with some calling them reckless and harmful, while others urged authorities to investigate the matter and take appropriate action.

Health professionals and the public continue to emphasize the importance of regular testing, responsible behavior, and adherence to treatment.

They note that ARVs help people living with HIV lead long, healthy lives and significantly reduce the risk of further transmission.
