Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino and Nairobi Senator Edwin W. Sifuna on Tuesday visited the family of the late Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ngeno at their home in Karen, Nairobi.
The two leaders arrived to offer their heartfelt condolences and stand with the family during this difficult moment following the tragic death of the legislator.
Hon. Ngeno lost his life on February 28, 2026, in a devastating helicopter crash in Nandi County. He was 53 years old. The late MP was serving his third term in Parliament, having first been elected in 2013.
Known for his fearless leadership, especially on land matters, and his strong voice in national debates, Ngeno earned respect from both supporters and political opponents.
During the solemn visit, Babu Owino and Senator Sifuna spent time with the widow, children, and close relatives. They shared words of comfort, prayed together, and reflected on the legacy of the late MP.
The atmosphere at the Karen residence was calm but heavy with grief as family members and leaders continued to come to terms with the painful loss.
Many Kenyans across the country have continued to send messages of condolence, remembering Ngeno as a bold and dedicated servant of the people of Emurua Dikirr and Narok County at large.
The leaders’ visit symbolized unity and compassion during a time of national mourning.
As burial preparations continue, tributes keep pouring in for the late legislator whose impact in Kenyan politics will not be forgotten.
May his soul rest in peace, and may his family find strength and comfort in this period of sorrow.
