In Eldoret, residents were left in shock on Tuesday evening after a strange and embarrassing incident happened in one of the estates.
A man who is said to be an OCS and was reportedly on leave was cornered by angry residents after he was allegedly found inside someone’s house stealing a woman’s pants.
The incident quickly attracted a crowd, with people shouting “Thief! Thief!” as the drama unfolded. According to eyewitnesses, the man had quietly entered the house when the owner was not aware. However, his plan did not go as expected. A neighbor noticed suspicious movements and raised the alarm. Within minutes, residents gathered outside the house.
The OCS reportedly attempted to flee from the scene after realizing he had been noticed, but a group of women managed to capture him before he could escape.
Witnesses said the situation became tense as the women demanded answers. The man reportedly asked for forgiveness and begged the residents to let him go.
However, the women insisted that he must be punished for what they described as disrespectful and shameful behavior. Many residents said they could not believe that a senior officer could be involved in such an act.
