"Ruto Has Brought Everybody Closer to Him, Including Senator Methu" – Popular Politician Says DCP Will Collapse Soon, Urges Gachagua to Retire From Politics

Speaking on Sunday during a church service in Kapsabet, Nandi County, a well-known politician claimed that former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's Democratic Change Party (DCP) is facing serious challenges.

According to the politician, President William Ruto has managed to bring everybody closer to him, including his top allies like Nyandarua Senator Methu.

He warned that if this continues, DCP may soon collapse as most members are expected to shift to Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party.

The politician went on to say that instead of facing public embarrassment, Gachagua should consider quitting politics and retire to his home in Wamunyoro.

“It is better to step aside now than to struggle with no support from the people,” he said.

He also claimed that leaders in DCP are only pretending to support Gachagua.

“In reality, they have all been given money by President Ruto. What they are doing now is acting loyal, but they are slowly moving away,” he explained.

“The truth is that Gachagua is now nobody in politics. He does not have any real support from other leaders, and he is unlikely to ever become president,” the politician added.

This statement has sparked debate among political analysts and citizens, with some agreeing that DCP is struggling to maintain its relevance, while others believe Gachagua still has a chance if he strengthens his support base.
