Photos of Retired Teacher and Wife Surface After Tragic Deaths Linked to Land Dispute

Photos of retired teacher Joseph Owuoth and his wife have emerged online following their deaths in an incident reportedly connected to a land boundary dispute.

The images, showing the couple during happier times, have stirred emotions among family, friends, and the wider public who are still coming to terms with the tragedy.

Local authorities and residents report that the couple was allegedly attacked by a neighbour after a disagreement over land boundaries escalated. The events are said to have occurred within 36 hours, leaving the community shocked.

Joseph Owuoth, who served as a teacher for many years before retiring, was respected for his calm nature and dedication to education. According to residents, the land dispute had existed for some time but had not previously led to violence.

Investigators believe the killing of Owuoth occurred first, followed by an attack on his wife, which is suspected to be part of the same conflict.

Following news of the deaths, anger spread through the village. Some residents reportedly set the homes of the suspects on fire, though police later confirmed that the suspects had fled the area. Their whereabouts remain unknown as investigations continue.

Police have since been deployed to restore calm and prevent further incidents. Authorities have urged residents not to take the law into their own hands, warning that mob justice can cause further harm and suffering.
