On Monday, Kenyans were left talking on social media after a 25-year-old college student from Nyeri County openly expressed his deep feelings for popular political activist Pauline Njoroge.
The young man, identified as Dauglas, shared a romantic message online declaring his love. In the viral post that quickly spread across different platforms, Dauglas boldly told Pauline that he truly admires her and wishes to build a future with her.
According to reports circulating online, he said that although he is currently still a student, he believes his future is bright. He explained that one day he will get a good job and work hard to change Pauline’s life for the better.
His message was written in a calm and emotional tone, showing that he was serious about his feelings.
However, what shocked many people most was his open confession. Dauglas publicly stated that he is HIV positive. Despite this, he said that it should not stop him from loving or being loved.
He added that his health status should not prevent him from appealing to Pauline Njoroge to consider him as a future partner and possibly the mother of his children.
