Breaking: Sifuna Blocked From Holding Political Rallies Following His Removal as ODM Secretary-General

Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has reportedly been blocked from holding political rallies across the country following his removal as the ODM Party Secretary-General.

This decision comes amid growing tension within the party, as some leaders express concern over Sifuna’s recent political activities.

According to reports, Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai was among the leaders who allegedly pushed for the block.

They claim that Sifuna might use the opportunity of holding political rallies to boost his personal image while criticizing ODM Party leader Oburu Odinga.

Party insiders said that the move is aimed at protecting the party’s reputation and ensuring that internal disagreements do not spill into public campaigns.

Sources added that the party has already informed the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) that Sifuna should be arrested if he is seen at any political rally.

This comes as part of the party’s effort to enforce discipline and prevent any actions they consider harmful to the party.

Sifuna has been a prominent figure in ODM politics, often vocal in defending his positions and criticizing opponents.

His removal as Secretary-General has sparked debate among party members and supporters, with some seeing it as a necessary step to maintain unity, while others view it as a setback for internal democracy.

More updates are expected as the situation develops, especially regarding how Sifuna and his supporters will respond to these restrictions and whether the move will affect ODM’s political activities in the coming months.
