Machakos Deputy Governor Under Fire as 26-Year-Old Woman Claims He Is Her Biological Father

Machakos Deputy Governor Francis Mwangangi Kilonzo is facing growing public attention after a 26-year-old woman came forward claiming that he is her biological father and demanding a DNA test to prove it.

The woman, Sharon Nduku, who works as a bar attendant in Machakos town, alleges that she was born out of a brief relationship between the deputy governor and her mother in the late 1990s. 

According to her account, the relationship took place in Nairobi’s Huruma area, where her mother, Caroline Muendi, was working as a vegetable vendor at the time.

Nduku says she grew up without her father’s support and was raised by her grandmother, who struggled to educate her until her death in 2020. 

She claims that her life has been marked by hardship and lack of guidance, which she attributes to the absence of her alleged father.

“I am not asking for money or favors. I only want the truth and acknowledgment,” Nduku said, insisting that she is ready to undergo a DNA test at any time.

She further claims that several attempts to reach Mwangangi during his time as Yatta MP were unsuccessful, even when she was facing serious challenges related to school fees and basic needs. 

According to her, residents of Machakos town have long referred to her as “Mtoto wa DG,” a nickname she says has caused emotional distress.

Her mother has backed her claims, accusing the politician of deliberately avoiding responsibility despite repeated private efforts by family members to resolve the matter quietly.

Nduku says she strongly believes they are related due to what she describes as a clear physical resemblance and maintains that a DNA test would settle the matter once and for all. “I am not afraid of the truth,” she stated.

The deputy governor has not responded directly to the allegations. However, reports indicate that he has dismissed the claims as politically motivated and linked to early political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections.

As the story continues to circulate online and attract public debate, pressure is mounting for a clear and factual resolution that could finally lay the matter to rest.
