Touching Moment: Winnie Odinga and Magufuli’s Daughter Seen Together Days After Raila’s Burial

A heartwarming moment has emerged online showing Winnie Odinga, the youngest daughter of the late Raila Odinga, spending time with Jesca Magufuli, the daughter of the late Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli.

The two were spotted together just days after Raila’s emotional burial, which took place in his ancestral home in Bondo, Siaya County. The scene touched many Kenyans and Tanzanians who still mourn the two great East African leaders.

According to reports, Jesca was among the special guests who attended Raila’s funeral from Tanzania. She stayed until the very end of the ceremony, standing close to the Odinga family in solidarity.

After the funeral, she and Winnie reportedly met again and shared a quiet moment, which Jesca later posted on her Instagram page.

In the touching photo, both young women appeared in all-black outfits — Winnie in a black t-shirt and pants, and Jesca in a matching cotton shirt and trousers.

Jesca captioned the post with Raila’s favorite song, “Jamaican Farewell,” symbolizing a deep tribute to the fallen opposition leader.

The post quickly went viral across East Africa, attracting emotional reactions from thousands of social media users.

One user, bekind, wrote: “Two strong women and children of our two strong East African giants.”
Another added: “Na wote wanafanana na baba zao.”

Purity Muguna said: “Strong girls, I am proud of you.”

While Lusenji Carlos commented: “I see Magufuli in Jesca.”

Many fans expressed admiration, calling the moment a powerful symbol of unity between Kenya and Tanzania.
