𝗕π—₯π—˜π—”π—žπ—œπ—‘π—š Ukraine Strikes Russia’s Novorossiysk Naval Base in Major Deep Attack

Ukraine says its forces carried out a major overnight strike on Russia’s naval facilities in Novorossiysk, a strategically important Black Sea port located more than 300 kilometers from the front line.

According to Ukrainian officials, the operation involved Palianytsia jet-powered drones, Neptune missiles and unmanned naval systems. The weapons were reportedly used to target several military sites and other designated positions within the area.

Ukraine said the strikes damaged or hit Russian air-defense installations, naval piers and other infrastructure inside the port.

The reported attack highlights Ukraine’s growing ability to conduct long-range operations against important Russian military facilities well behind the battlefield. Novorossiysk has become one of the key bases supporting Russia’s Black Sea Fleet.

Ukrainian authorities said Russian naval assets and the infrastructure supporting them would continue to face attacks for as long as the war remains ongoing.

At the same time, Kyiv reiterated its position that diplomatic efforts should ultimately be used to bring the conflict to an end.
