A remarkable story from Columbus, Ohio, in 2006 continues to capture attention because of the unusual role a pet cat is believed to have played during a medical emergency.
According to reports, Gary Rosheisen, who lived with mobility challenges and experienced seizures and mini-strokes, had spent time training his cat, Tommy, to press the speed-dial button on his telephone using treats as rewards.
One day, Gary reportedly fell from his wheelchair and was unable to get back up or reach the phone to call for help. Shortly afterward, a 911 operator received a silent emergency call with no one speaking on the line. Get The Full Story Here.
