A routine training flight turned into a terrifying ordeal after a flight instructor reportedly jumped from a small aircraft, leaving his inexperienced student alone in the sky.

The 22-year-old trainee pilot, identified as Rosario, had only logged a few hours of flying experience when the incident unfolded over Toledo, Argentina. She was flying alongside her 42-year-old instructor, Leandro Bertazzo, during what was expected to be a normal lesson.

According to reports, Bertazzo suddenly removed his headset, unbuckled his seat belt, opened the aircraft door, and jumped from the plane while it was still in the air.
