Russia has reportedly deployed a government-operated Tupolev Tu-214PU aircraft to Tehran as tensions between the United States and Iran continue to escalate.
The aircraft, bearing registration RA-64531 and operated by the Rossiya Special Flight Squadron, landed in the Iranian capital on July 13, 2026. It is a specialized government plane typically used to transport senior Russian officials and support high-level state missions.
