A family from Kapsabet in Nandi County is grieving after reports emerged that their daughter lost her life in a tragic incident while working in Saudi Arabia. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.
According to the family, the young woman had just delivered a baby when she was killed, a development that has left relatives and friends devastated and in deep sorrow.
They explained that she had been employed as a domestic worker in Saudi Arabia for some time, where she is said to have allegedly formed a relationship with her male employer.
The family further stated that the situation escalated after she became pregnant, with claims that the employer was responsible for the pregnancy.
Tensions reportedly rose after the employer’s wife found out about the alleged affair and pregnancy, an incident the family says led to anger and conflict.
Heartbroken relatives allege that shortly after giving birth, the woman was attacked in a brutal manner, sustaining fatal injuries from being beaten with a hammer and stabbed multiple times with a knife.
They also made an additional claim that after the attack, the employer’s wife placed the newborn baby on the mother’s body.
The family is now urging the Kenyan government to intervene and assist in bringing the body back home for burial, while also calling for justice for their daughter.
The incident has caused widespread shock online, with many Kenyans expressing condolences and sympathy to the grieving family.
