On Sunday, a distressing video of a Kenyan woman employed in Saudi Arabia circulated widely online, leaving many viewers emotional. In the clip, she is seen visibly shaken and in tears as she narrates the harsh conditions she claims to be enduring while working abroad. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.

She alleges that her employer has confined her to a room and that she has gone without food for four days. The woman expressed confusion over why she is being treated in such a manner and said she fears for her safety.

She further claimed that before being locked up, she was assaulted by her employer and his sons. According to her, the attacks were severe and left her with injuries, including bleeding legs and other physical harm.

While speaking in the video, she sent a heartbreaking message to her sister, saying she had already informed her parents about her situation but was uncertain whether she would make it out alive. 

Her emotional plea highlighted the struggles some migrant workers face while seeking employment abroad.

The footage has triggered public anger in Kenya, with many calling on authorities to intervene. 

Kenyans are urging the government to strengthen protections for citizens working overseas to prevent abuse and ensure their safety while they earn a living for their families.
