Residents in Western Kenya were left in shock after a tragic incident involving a Form Three student and her alleged boyfriend, a teacher, who were both found dead in what police are treating as a suspected suicide.
According to early reports, the two are believed to have been in a secret romantic relationship that later became known to the public. Once the relationship allegedly came to light, tensions reportedly rose, with parents said to have threatened to involve authorities.
It is further reported that the teacher failed to report to school on Monday after hearing about possible action being taken against him. Concern grew after he went missing from his usual duties.
