"Wananuka Tu Mafi Wakitembea," Shock as MP's Daughter Insults Kenyan Men Doing Mjengo for a Living, Says She Can't Date Them (VIDEO)

On Tuesday evening, Kenyan men on TikTok were left stunned after a daughter of a local Member of Parliament openly made insulting remarks about them. In her online statement, the young woman alleged that men working in construction sites, commonly known as mjengo, are poor and unlikely to succeed in life. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.

She further claimed that many of them do not maintain proper hygiene or take regular showers.

She added that whenever she sees mjengo workers heading to their jobs while she drives her luxury Prado V8, she feels disgusted due to the smell she associates with them, describing it in very harsh terms.

The lady went on to state that she could never date men in such jobs. According to her, she prefers men who own expensive cars and match her lifestyle, unlike those who are still struggling financially in manual jobs like construction work.

Her comments sparked widespread outrage on TikTok, with many users condemning her for disrespecting hardworking individuals.

A large number of commenters defended construction workers, emphasizing that dignity and hard work should not be judged by income or social class.

The video quickly went viral and has since dominated conversations across Kenyan social media platforms. Many users argue that her remarks reflect arrogance and a lack of appreciation for the working class.

Others see the incident as another example of how personal opinions shared online can quickly escalate into national debate and controversy.
