A Kenyan lady has sparked massive reactions online after opening up about the painful situation she is allegedly going through at home just two days after giving birth. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.
In a viral video that has been circulating on social media, the emotional woman is seen crying while narrating how her husband has been demanding intimacy despite her still recovering from childbirth.
According to the lady, efforts to explain her condition have allegedly been met with threats and intimidation from the man.
The visibly distressed mother claimed that she delivered her baby only two days ago and is still experiencing pain and weakness.
However, she alleged that her husband keeps insisting on what she referred to as “mechi,” leaving her confused and emotionally drained.
At some point in the video, the woman is heard pleading for advice from Kenyans, saying she no longer knows what to do because whenever she refuses, the man allegedly becomes violent and threatens to beat her.
The heartbreaking clip quickly attracted the attention of thousands of Kenyans online, with many expressing sympathy for the woman while condemning the alleged behavior of the husband.
Some social media users advised the woman to seek help from close family members or local authorities, while others encouraged her to prioritize her health and the safety of her newborn child.
Others also used the opportunity to educate couples about the importance of allowing women enough time to recover after childbirth, saying new mothers go through physical and emotional pain that requires support and care.
As the video continues trending online, many Kenyans are now calling on couples to promote understanding and respect in relationships, especially during sensitive moments such as after delivery.
