In Pipeline area, Nairobi County, a sad incident has left residents and social media users in shock after a man reportedly collapsed and died shortly after a heated confrontation with his girlfriend over his job. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.
According to reports, the man was a street food vendor who sold smokies and boiled eggs for a living. Trouble began when his girlfriend confronted him after learning the nature of his job.
The woman allegedly told him that if she had known earlier that he was a smokie and egg vendor, she would not have agreed to date him.
She further complained that the man was not giving her enough money for her upkeep. She claimed that when she asked him for KSh 10,000, he gave her KSh 7,000 and promised to send the remaining amount after two days.
In another instance, she said she once requested KSh 20,000, but he delayed before finally sending it, money which she later discovered he had borrowed from friends.
The woman also claimed that the man never told her the truth about his job, and she feared her friends would laugh at her if they found out she was dating a smokie and egg vendor.
She added that he always tried to take care of her needs despite his small business.
However, tensions rose when she ended the relationship during the argument. Shockingly, moments after the breakup, the man collapsed on the spot and died.
The incident has sparked mixed reactions online, with many Kenyans expressing sadness and questioning what exactly caused his sudden death.
