As the 2027 General Election approaches, political factions have increasingly embraced AI-generated content to spread propaganda and attack rival camps. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.
Former Cabinet Secretary and Rarieda MP Raphael Tuju, who has recently been facing political pressure, is the latest public figure to be featured in such AI-driven satire.
In a viral parody video, a content creator uses AI-generated footage showing figures such as Rigathi Gachagua and other opposition-linked politicians, humorously narrating how Tuju allegedly engineered and staged his own abduction.
The video references a recent confrontation between Tuju and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
Tuju had earlier claimed he was abducted, but DCI Director Mohammed Amin later stated that investigations suggested the incident was a “self-orchestrated stunt” meant to mislead both the public and law enforcement agencies.
After reappearing on March 23rd, 2026, Tuju was subsequently arrested and booked at Karen Police Station.
The parody video mocks the alleged incident, depicting characters portrayed as his associates seemingly revealing how the entire episode was planned and executed.
