A shocking moment was witnessed in a local church when a young woman identified as Marion Naipei openly confessed her struggles during a prayer service. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.
The emotional scene left many worshippers in silence as she admitted that she is battling addiction to alcohol and what she referred to as “mechi,” a term commonly used to mean sexual relationships.
According to Marion, her lifestyle has become very hard to control, and she feels she is losing direction in life. Speaking in tears, she said she has tried several times to change but keeps falling back into the same habits.
She added that the situation has affected her peace of mind and her personal life, making her feel hopeless at times.
“Bila hiyo naweza hata kufa,” she said, expressing deep pain and confusion about her condition. Her words moved some members of the congregation, while others looked visibly shocked by her honesty.
During the service, she pleaded with Kanyari to pray for her and help her find deliverance. She said she believes that only spiritual intervention can save her from the lifestyle she is struggling with.
The incident quickly spread online after the video surfaced, with many Kenyans reacting differently. Some sympathized with her and encouraged her to seek help, while others debated about the openness of such confessions in public churches.
As the video continues to circulate, many are now discussing the pressures young people face and the importance of mental, emotional, and spiritual support systems in society.
