A young Kenyan woman has publicly accused a headteacher of a private school of attempting to take advantage of her after she applied for a job. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.
According to her account, she had visited the school in search of employment as she struggled with unemployment. However, things allegedly took an uncomfortable turn when the headteacher started making romantic or sexual advances toward her.
She says she rejected those advances, insisting she was only interested in the job opportunity.
Later, when she followed up to know if she had been selected, she was reportedly informed that the position had already been filled by someone else.
The woman claims she felt discriminated against after refusing to compromise her dignity for a job that pays around KSh 10,000 per month, which she described as too little to justify such conditions.
The incident sparked reactions online after she shared her experience on social media, with many users debating issues of workplace harassment and exploitation in low-paying jobs.
