Shock as Photos of Househelp Who Murdered Her Boss at Night Over Alleged Mistreatment Emerge

An African househelp working in the Middle East has drawn global attention after reenacting the alleged killing of her employer during official investigations.

The suspect, Vicky Ajok from Uganda, is accused of killing Syrian actress Huuda Shaarawi, a case now under review by the Ministry of Justice.
Authorities reportedly took Ajok back to the crime scene to demonstrate how the incident is alleged to have happened.

In a video shared by the justice ministry, she claimed the events followed months of mistreatment. She alleged that she was often denied food, beaten, and not paid her wages.

Ajok further stated that on the night of the incident, her employer denied her food and accused her of poisoning her, which led to panic and rage.

In her account to investigators, she said only the two of them were in the house that night.
She claimed her employer told her she had poisoned her, and she responded that they would “go together.”

She explained that she initially thought she was suffering from malaria before later believing she had been poisoned.

Ajok told investigators that around 3 a.m., she went to the kitchen, picked an object, and returned to allegedly carry out the attack.
She added that after the incident, she attempted to take her own life but survived.

She further stated that she fled the scene and later met people she misled about her situation.
Ajok also claimed her employer had promised to take her to hospital but instead called police, who arrested her.

She insisted that she was telling the truth and said that if she died, she wanted it to be after admitting responsibility for the killing, claiming it happened after she was told she had been poisoned.

She added that their problems began in November after her wages were not paid.
Investigations are ongoing as authorities review her claims and the broader issue of domestic worker welfare abroad.
