"Nitatufa Mwanaume Mwingine," Shock as Angry Woman Scalds Boyfriend With Hot Water and Disappears After Failing to Send Her KSh 20,000

New information has emerged from Nairobi after a woman allegedly assaulted her boyfriend by pouring hot water on him following an argument over KSh 20,000 she had requested.

Security camera footage captured the suspect hurriedly leaving the scene shortly after the incident.

The victim, identified as Steve Godia, said that while he was in severe pain, the woman allegedly took two of his mobile phones and transferred more than KSh 300,000 from his bank account.

He further claimed that she later told him, “Nitatufa mwanaume mwingine,” suggesting she would find another man after the incident.

Steve said he later discovered that his phones were missing and most of his money had been withdrawn, leaving him with only KSh 7.

He added that although police had launched investigations, he felt the process was slow and urged that the suspect be arrested and brought to justice.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations identified the suspect as Gladwell Kagai, a woman Steve said he had known and trusted for three years.

According to Steve, the confrontation began after she questioned him about communication with a former girlfriend.

He alleged that during the incident, she boiled water and poured it on his face before fleeing the house.

The young man is currently receiving treatment in a city hospital for serious burns. The attack reportedly occurred on the eve of Valentine’s Day at his rented residence in Umoja 1 Estate.

Despite reporting the matter to authorities, the suspect remains missing, leaving Steve and his family calling for justice.

The incident has raised concern as investigations continue.
