As reported by several social media sources, a shocking incident has left residents of Nyeri County in disbelief after a woman allegedly killed her boyfriend following a dispute over KSh 2,000 and later reported him missing to hide the crime.
According to reports, the woman had asked her boyfriend to give her KSh 2,000 for salon expenses. However, the boyfriend reportedly told her that he did not have the money at that time, but promised to give it to her after two days when he would have gotten some cash.
It is alleged that the woman became very angry and waited until the boyfriend was asleep. She then allegedly poured hot water on him, causing him to suffer severe burns and serious injuries.
Further reports claim that after the attack, the woman went ahead and buried the man in a shallow grave in an attempt to hide the evidence. She then reportedly started telling people that her boyfriend had gone missing.
However, during the incident, a witness is said to have seen part of what happened and quickly informed the police.
The woman was later arrested by authorities and is expected to be taken to court on Monday as investigations continue.
