On Sunday, President William Ruto, together with other government leaders, attended an Akorino church service in Nairobi. The church members warmly welcomed them during the service, which brought together both religious leaders and political figures in one gathering.
However, during the event, one of the pastors made strong remarks while addressing the congregation and the President.
The pastor spoke about people who are opposing President William Ruto, saying that such individuals would be rejected and punished by God.
He went on to praise the President, saying that the work he has done for Kenyans is great. He mentioned key sectors such as education and health, claiming that the government has made notable improvements compared to past administrations.
He further told the President that his leadership has positively impacted many people across the country. According to him, God is pleased with the President because of the work he is doing for the nation, and that is why, in his words, those opposing him will face rejection.
The pastor also said that as Akorino church leaders, they will continue supporting and encouraging the President. He added that they will always “stand with him” and remind him that he is doing a good job in leading the country.
