On Sunday, a very tragic accident happened in the Hail Region where a popular Catholic priest and his children lost their lives, leaving many people in shock and deep mourning after learning that the family perished at once.
According to reports from the media, the man had earlier shared a message on his account on X. In his post, he wrote that when he dies, nobody should pray for him.
He said that death is something very frightening because it does not ask for permission before it strikes. His message has now touched many people, especially after news of his sudden passing.
One part of his words read: “When I die, do not try to save me with prayers. Death is a truth that does not wait for anyone.”
The cousin of the late priest said the entire family has been left in deep sorrow after receiving the sad news. According to her, the pain of losing a relative in such a manner is too much for them to bear.
“We are broken and heartbroken. Losing him and his children in such a way is something we cannot even understand. The family is in mourning and we are asking people to stand with us in prayers,” the cousin explained.
She went on to say that they never expected such a tragedy to happen and described the incident as deeply painful. The family is now seeking comfort and support from well-wishers during this very difficult time.
“Nobody could imagine that one day we would receive such news. It is too heavy for us, and we ask for prayers from everyone,” she added.
Reports further indicated that the accident happened when the car they were traveling in collided with a truck. It is believed that the truck lost control, leading to the deadly crash.
Apart from the family members who lost their lives, some passers-by were also injured and were rushed to hospital for treatment.
