Breaking: Panic as Armed Robbers Raid Home of a Prominent Politician at Night; Herdsman Tortured and Killed

Residents of Narok County are in deep shock following a tragic incident that occurred on Friday evening.

According to reports from one of the local media houses, a group of armed robbers stormed the home of a top politician in the county.

During the raid, the attackers brutally assaulted a herdsman who was guarding the compound before killing him.

The incident happened at night when the herdsman was alone on duty. Reports indicate that the robbers were heavily armed and demanded information from the victim before subjecting him to serious torture.

Sadly, the herdsman did not survive the ordeal, leaving the local community in pain and fear.
In a statement, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations confirmed the incident and revealed disturbing details about the attack.

According to the DCI, after killing the herdsman, the robbers drove away with several stolen cattle.

“The suspects escaped with the cattle, and our officers have launched investigations to track them down and recover the stolen animals,” the DCI stated.

The detectives further explained that a manhunt is currently underway, with officers following key leads to identify and arrest those involved.

The DCI believes the suspects may be part of a criminal gang that has been targeting homes and livestock in the area.

Police also revealed that the Lolgorian region has experienced an increase in similar attacks in recent months.

According to authorities, residents have repeatedly been targeted by armed robbers who steal cattle and sometimes use extreme violence.

“This region has recorded several cases of cattle theft and violent attacks, which is worrying,” police said.

As the body of the herdsman was taken to the morgue, family members and villagers gathered, expressing grief and anger over the killing.

Many residents called on the government to strengthen security and protect workers and families living in remote areas.

Police assured the public that they are committed to ending such crimes in Narok County.

“We will ensure that those behind this crime are arrested and brought to justice. We are also working hard to stop cattle theft and protect the lives of residents,” the police stated.

Authorities urged members of the public to share any information that could help with the investigations.

They warned criminals that security agencies are determined to restore peace and will not allow such acts to continue.
