She also included her ex-boyfriend’s phone number at the bottom of the post. This made friends and family worried, and many of them started calling the number to confirm what had happened.

When contacted, the ex-boyfriend confirmed the sad news. He told callers that Sheila’s body was at the morgue and that they needed Ksh 20,000 to clear the bill. He claimed that he was the one handling everything, which made the situation look even more real.
Because of fear and shock, Sheila’s parents rushed to the morgue to see their daughter’s body. However, when they arrived, they were told that no such body had been brought there. After checking the records, it became clear that something was not right.
The parents then became suspicious and decided to visit the ex-boyfriend’s house. To their surprise, they found Sheila alive and well inside the house. This made the situation worse, and angry residents quickly gathered at the scene.
