“Mimi Sitaki Shule, Nataka Bwana Ako Na Pesa,” Shock as Form Three Student Tells Her Parents, Says She Is an Adult

A young girl from Kisii County has shocked many people after she allegedly told her parents that she no longer wants to continue with school.

According to reports, the Form Three student insisted that she is now an adult and can make her own life decisions without being controlled.

In a statement the 18-year-old girl allegedly made, she said that many of her friends already have boyfriends who take care of them and give them money.

She added that she feels left behind and frustrated because she is still in school, which she believes is not helping her life the way she wants.

The girl further told her parents that she does not want education anymore. Instead, she said she wants a man who is rich and can provide her with money every day.

She explained that this is the kind of life she dreams of, and she is tired of struggling while still in school.

She went on to say that she dreams of living a soft and comfortable life, full of luxury and enjoyment, instead of what she called a difficult life at home and in school.

However, many Kenyans on social media reacted strongly, urging her to focus on her studies and understand the importance of education before making such life decisions.

Meanwhile, experts and child welfare advocates have advised parents to consider counseling for teenagers facing such challenges.

They said proper guidance can help young people make better decisions and avoid choices that may destroy their future opportunities.
