"I Sent Ksh 1.4M to My Ex-Boyfriend While in Saudi Arabia Because I Trusted Him More Than My Parents, but When I Returned, I Found Him Married to Another Woman," Sad as Kakamega Lady Recounts

A lady from Kakamega County has shared a painful story of love, trust, and betrayal. Speaking during an interview with Tales Extra, Charity opened up about how she was deeply hurt by the man she trusted the most.

She explained that she believed in him fully and never imagined that he would turn against her in such a way.

Charity said that she was in a relationship with her boyfriend for some time. Even though she loved him very much, he used to cheat on her with other women.

Surprisingly, this did not make her angry. She said she chose to ignore his behavior because she believed that one day he would change and become a better partner.

However, things took a different turn when her boyfriend openly told her that he did not love her anymore. He even said that he had found another woman whom he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Charity said those words hurt her deeply and left her feeling confused and broken.

In an attempt to fight for her love and prove her commitment, Charity made a bold decision. She traveled to Saudi Arabia where she signed a 10-year work contract.

Her plan was to work hard and send all her earnings to her boyfriend as a way of showing him how much she loved and trusted him. While in Saudi Arabia, Charity said she cut off communication with her parents.

She blocked them and refused to answer their calls even when they tried to reach out to her for help.

She explained that the only person she wanted to stay connected with was her boyfriend.

After working for 10 years, her contract finally came to an end, and she returned to Kenya. By that time, she had already sent her boyfriend a total of Ksh 1.4 million. She was hopeful that her sacrifices would be appreciated and that they would rebuild their relationship.

Sadly, things did not go as she expected. When she went to see him, she was shocked to find that he had built a big house using the money she sent him. Even more painful, he had married another woman and started a business with the same money.

Charity now says she feels completely betrayed and regrets the decisions she made. She is also worried about facing her parents, whom she ignored and did not support while she was away.

Her story serves as a painful lesson about trust, love, and the importance of valuing family.
