"Huyo Mama Amekukosea Nini Jameni?" Kenyans Rush to Condemn Kimani Ichung’wah Over His Inappropriate Remarks Towards Pastor Dorcas

On Friday, many Kenyans on social media expressed anger and disappointment after Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichung’wah made comments that did not sit well with a large number of people. His remarks quickly went viral and sparked heated reactions online.

Many Kenyans called out the lawmaker, urging him to show respect to Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, who is the wife of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

They said that political disagreements should not involve personal attacks or dragging family members into political issues.

The anger grew after Ichung’wah was accused of making remarks about the private life of the former Deputy President’s household. Many people felt that he went too far by involving family matters in political discussions, something they described as unfair and disrespectful.

In his comments, Ichung’wah allegedly suggested that Pastor Dorcas had a strong influence in the home and made decisions in a way that some Kenyans felt was insulting.

He is reported to have used words that many considered offensive and not suitable for public leadership discussions.

Following these remarks, a majority of Kenyans condemned the statements, saying they were disrespectful to Pastor Dorcas Rigathi. They also demanded that the MP should publicly apologize for his words and avoid such comments in the future.

Kenyans further advised political leaders to be careful with their speech, especially when dealing with sensitive political matters.

They emphasized that leaders should avoid involving the spouses and families of their rivals in political disagreements, as it only increases tension and disrespect in public debate
