On Sunday, a man from Bungoma County identified as Makano Mushito, who claims to be a prophet, shocked many Kenyans after sharing a message about former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
The man said that God usually shows him events before they happen, and this time he had a troubling message about Gachagua’s life.
In a statement, the self-proclaimed prophet explained that he had a dream on Saturday night. According to him, the dream showed that the life of Rigathi Gachagua is in danger. He said the message was clear and serious, and it needed urgent attention.
He went on to say that something must be done quickly to save Gachagua. The man claimed that in the dream, he saw Gachagua being arrested and later sent to jail. He added that the situation looked unavoidable, saying that Gachagua “won’t go far” without facing arrest.
The prophet also said that Gachagua has many enemies who are always trying to bring him down. However, he claimed that in the dream, those enemies would not succeed in destroying him completely.
Still, he insisted that the issue of arrest was very clear, and according to what he saw, the DCP leader would eventually be taken into custody.
Despite the warning, the man called on Kenyans to pray for Rigathi Gachagua. He urged citizens to stand with him so that he can continue with his political journey and serve the people.
However, many Kenyans on social media did not take the message lightly.
A large number of users condemned the prophet, questioning why he focuses on negative predictions instead of positive ones. Others accused him of seeking attention and spreading fear among the public.
