Good News for Students as KUCCPS Opens KMTC Intake for 31 Courses

Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service has announced a new chance for students in Kenya to apply for medical courses at Kenya Medical Training College.

This new intake gives hope to many students who missed earlier placements or were not selected before. Medical courses are very competitive, so this is a big opportunity.

KUCCPS said applications are now open for 31 courses at KMTC, including both certificate and diploma programs. These courses are in health and medical-related fields, which are in high demand in Kenya.

Students have two weeks to apply, with the deadline set for May 6, 2026. Applications must be done online through the KUCCPS student portal.

Both new applicants and those who were not placed earlier can apply. This means more young people now have a chance to join medical training.

The courses offered cover many areas. Certificate courses include Community Health Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Nutrition and Dietetics, Medical Engineering, and Public Health.

Diploma courses include Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, Radiography, Physiotherapy, and many other specialized fields like Dental Technology and Occupational Therapy.

Applicants must meet the required grades for each course. They are advised to check all details carefully before submitting their choices online.

KUCCPS also warned students to be careful when applying to avoid mistakes that could affect their placement.

This intake is expected to help more students join medical training and also support Kenya’s need for more health workers.
